Cooper introduces enhanced version of popular recessed fluorescent luminaire

Oct 03, 2005

Cooper Lighting and Security has introduced an enhanced version of its Combiform Plus recessed luminaire, which has become a popular choice for lighting schemes designed to comply with the latest LG7 lighting guide.

Combiform Plus uses a curved body and curved, perforated panels to achieve a soft-lit effect that complements the direct illumination produced by its central Xenoptic satin louvre.

As well as offering improved illumination of the gullwings, the luminaire now features a slimmer-looking louvre design and shootbolt louvre retention, which makes for quicker installation.

Particularly suitable for use in VDT areas, Combiform Plus provides gentle illumination of ceilings and vertical surfaces, while its 65○-1000 cd/m2 optics deliver efficient downward lighting. A one-piece body construction avoids unsightly join lines and also reduces installation time.

Available in a choice of fully recessed or semi-recessed models, the luminaire is equipped with high-frequency control gear as standard and is supplied complete with T5 or compact fluorescent lamps.

The Combiform Plus range includes fully integral emergency versions, with or without automatic testing functionality, and can be specified with Intellect lighting control technology if required.
