Cooper Lighting and Safety, a leading manufacturer of mains and emergency lighting solutions for commercial and industrial applications, has introduced a new version of its Linergy industrial luminaire which provides an energy-efficient T5 fluorescent alternative to the discharge luminaires that were traditionally used for high-bay and low-bay lighting.

Having been re-engineered for enhanced efficiency and improved downward light output ratio (DLOR), Linergy II is now available in 4 x 73W and 4 x 49W models. Linergy II luminaires also offer an expanded range to include an advanced rack reflector option with focused vertical illumination as well as enclosed versions incorporating an IP20 clear acrylic panel for use in areas that require lamp-shatter protection.

For maximum energy savings, the luminaire can be specified with an integrated occupancy and daylight detector, which is designed for use at heights up to 16m, ideal for occupancy detection and daylight harvesting in locations such as warehouses, factories and large retail premises. The choice of control gear includes both standard high-frequency and DALI digital dimming options.

The luminaire body features a full box welded steel construction with a white powder-coated paint finish and the high-performance reflectors are made from anodised aluminium with a satin finish for zero iridescence. Fully integral emergency conversions are available across the entire range and automatic test functionality can be provided if required.
