The University of Leeds School of Music, which is centred around the Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall, was being extended and refurbished. As part of this process the emergency lighting in the department was upgraded.

A new building at Durham University was being constructed to house the Earth Sciences department, together with the E-Science Research Institute and part of the Geography department.

A subsequent merger saw it renamed as Birmingham Metropolitan College, but the award-winning building retains its distinct identity as the Matthew Boulton Campus.

Formed from the amalgamation of three primary schools in the Willenhall area, the newly constructed Fibbersley Park Primary School features a stylish and contemporary design that creates an ideal learning environment for all the pupils and staff.

The hospital’s Huntsman Building, Brearley Wing and Firth Wing were being given their first major refurbishment since they were constructed in the 1980s. As part of this process, the original batten fluorescent lighting was being replaced as it had reached the end of its life.

A new £65 million building, known as the Hub, was constructed for Doncaster College in the centre of the town. The waterfront campus offers many state-of-the-art educational facilities, including a 100-seat lecture theatre, a 200-seat drama studio and a twostorey learning resource centre, as well as first-class catering, sports and leisure facilities.
